The two globes sitting at different heights is the whole thing. If they were level it would be a lamp. Off centre like that, it is an object.

Sprig is a 19 inch table lamp with two frosted glass globes on a sculpted resin branch. Dimmable, both bulbs included, and worth looking at with the light off.

Put it on the hall console and now everyone who comes in stops at it before they take their coat off. Two people have asked if it is ceramic. It is resin, and it is better than ceramic would have been.
switched off it still earns the side table. thats rare. most lamps are furniture shaped apologies during the day
I bought it for the shelf above my desk and I now look at the branching form more often than the screen. Easily the best thing I have put in this office.
The resin has a matte, faintly chalky finish that reads as plaster rather than plastic, which is the distinction I was most anxious about before ordering. The branching arms are cleanly moulded with no seam I can find. It is a genuinely handsome object.
Looks better switched off than most lamps look switched on.
The taller globe sits at the back, so from the sofa you read the two of them as depth rather than as a pair. Whoever decided that was paying attention.
Nineteen inches is taller than it sounds, and on a low nightstand that height works in your favour. The globes sit near eye level when you are propped up in bed, so the warm light comes across the room instead of down onto your face. It has become the last thing I switch off. The frosted glass wipes clean with a dry cloth in about a minute, which I appreciate more than I expected to. Easily the best made thing on that side of the room.
honestly just a good looking lump of resin with two lit balls on it. no notes. my flatmate wants one.
I spent an embarrassing amount of time last autumn looking for something for the console by the stairs, and everything in this shape either looked like a hotel lobby or like a catalogue reprint of itself, and I gave up twice. This turned up and the branching body is properly sculpted, not a stick with arms glued on, and the two globes are at heights that actually look considered. Eight pounds, so it does not shift when the door slams. My sister has now seen it three times and mentioned it three times, which for her is effusive.
Two G9s rather than one bulb means there is no single bright point anywhere on it. The glow comes from two places at once and the frosting evens out what is left. Dims smoothly to about a tenth with no buzz.
Guests ask. Every time. Then they ask again what the body is made of.
