Our story

Kelvin & Co. does not manufacture lamps. We choose them, thirteen at a time.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. Search for a table lamp and you will scroll past thousands of them, and most are the same moulded shell in a different finish, photographed on the same grey background. The listings blur together because the lamps do.

We took the opposite approach. A small range, chosen one at a time, where every piece is made of something you can name.

Materials you can name

Stained glass on Verona, Hollow and Spooky. Blown glass on Plume, Pebble and Sorrel. Marble on Slate. Brass and walnut on Quill. Cast resin on Ripple. Glass that is cut and stained by hand varies from piece to piece, and marble never repeats its veining, so no two are quite identical. That is the point of buying one rather than the moulded version.

Every product page lists the materials, the dimensions and the electrical details under Specifications. If something is not listed there, ask us and we will find out rather than guess.

Lamps, not ceilings

We do not sell ceiling lights. A single source overhead flattens a room, pushes shadow into every corner and gives you no control at all. Two or three lamps at different heights do the opposite. They give a room depth, and they let you decide how much light the evening needs.

Every lamp in the range plugs in. No electrician, no rewiring, nothing that has to be undone when you move. Good light should not require owning the walls.

Where we are

Kelvin & Co. is run from Ajman in the United Arab Emirates and ships to customers across the United States. We are a small team and a young company. We choose the range ourselves, we answer our own email, and when something goes wrong you are talking to the people who picked the lamp rather than a queue.

Orders are packed within 1 to 3 business days and most arrive within 3 to 4 weeks, with tracking and free standard shipping on everything.

If it isn't right

A lamp is hard to judge from a photograph. So plug it in, live with it for a few evenings, and if the room doesn't feel different, send it back inside thirty days of delivery and we cover the label. There is no restocking fee. We would rather have the lamp back than have it sitting in a room it doesn't suit.
